Job Summary

Gulliver Preparatory School is seeking to hire dedicated, dynamic, and experienced Music, Movement and Storytelling teacher for the fall semester of the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will incorporate vocal and instrumental experiences combined with creative movement and various storytelling techniques to engage students imaginations, talents and skills. In addition, candidates must be able to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other members of the fine arts department. We seek candidates who will be a positive presence in the division and find imaginative ways to promote student learning through events and concerts throughout the school year.

The ability to commit to an integrated curriculum, strong communication and organizational abilities, and experience incorporating technology in support of student learning is essential. Commitment to continued professional development and to equity and inclusion is also very important.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education is required.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience working with this age group.
• Certification and/or Masters Degree preferred!
