Job Summary
Gulliver Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Lower School Spanish teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate is a fluent Spanish speaker who brings the desire for language and culture to life in the classroom. Knowledge and use of varied approaches to actively engage learners to use Spanish is essential in order to establish a rich learning experience for both heritage and non-heritage speakers. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the standards and ways to integrate technology into lessons, and experience with Responsive Classroom is preferred. Collaboration within the department and with colleagues across the school is expected, as is a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Spanish with this age level.
- Certification and/or Masters Degree in Education, preferred!
Pre-Employment Requirements
Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
